🛠️ Basic Recommendations

If you are experiencing issues launching Predator, we highly recommend following these steps:

  • Disable your antivirus software — If needed, consider fully uninstalling it.
  • Disable Microsoft Defender.
  • Disable all driver-based anti-cheats:
    • For Faceit: Open CMD as an administrator and enter:
      sc stop faceit
    • For Valorant: Open CMD as an administrator and enter:
      sc stop vgc
      sc stop vgk
  • Ensure the -vulkan launch option is NOT enabled — Predator does not support this option.
  • Synchronize your time settings in Windows: Go to Settings → Time & Language → Date & Time and ensure automatic synchronization is enabled.

⚠️ List of Known Problems & Solutions

❗1) Error: “An error occurred in the secure channel support” / “The request has timed out” / “The operation timed out”

Solution: This error is often caused by traffic being blocked (e.g., by an anti-cheat, antivirus, firewall, or ISP).

  • Fully uninstall any antivirus software and additional anti-cheats — disabling them may not be enough.
  • Resynchronize your time and region settings in Windows.
  • Try enabling or disabling your VPN to check for connectivity issues.

❗2) Error: “Internal public server error”

Solution: Traffic is likely being blocked by security software or your ISP.

  • Fully uninstall any antivirus software and additional anti-cheats — disabling them may not be enough.

❗3) Error: “Antivirus Interference detected”

Solution:

  • Fully uninstall any antivirus software and additional anti-cheats — disabling them may not be enough.
  • Perform a full malware scan using a trusted tool to ensure your system is not compromised. Recommended tool: Dr.Web CureIt

❗4) Error: Reason: [<code>] sym: <some info>

Solution: Submit a support ticket at Predator Systems Support.

When creating your ticket, include a screenshot of your Windows version by:

  • Press WIN + R, type winver, and press Enter.

❗5) Error: Reason: modules::load_module: failed to create section

Solution:

  • Fully uninstall any antivirus software and additional anti-cheats — disabling them may not be enough.
